This server is a Xen VM on a Dell PE2650 running Debian GNU/Linux Etch. Files are stored on AFS (http://www.openafs.org/) fileservers, which are Dell PE2650 servers connected to JetStor RAID arrays, also running Debian GNU/Linux Etch.
Requests for additional mirrors will be considered on the basis of relevance and available disk space. Send mail to gripe@club.cc.cmu.edu. Monetary and/or hardware contributions are welcome! Please send us mail if you would like to make a contribution.
We also support rsync. See rsync.samba.org for info on rsync. Try 'rsync ftp.club.cc.cmu.edu::' to get a list of modules. In addition, if you have an AFS client (see http://www.openafs.org/), you can access this service directly from your filesystem in /afs/club.cc.cmu.edu/archive
