We provide DNS as a service to the CMU community. If you would like to have a domain hosted with us, contact gripe@club.cc.cmu.edu. Your zonefile can live in AFS somewhere, and you will be able to update it yourself (keep in mind, this is in DJB format!).
Our DNS servers are sodium and potassium, running djbdns on Linux. They grab zonefiles hourly from /afs/club/service/dns
